Gold Plated Health & Safety for Fujifilm Grangemouth

FUJIFILM Imaging Colorants (FFIC) at Grangemouth, has scooped a Gold Award for its Occupational Health & Safety performance from the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA).

The Award was presented to a team representing Grangemouth site during a prestigious dinner at the Glasgow Hilton last Thursday. It recognises the company’s robust monitoring, reporting and communication systems and its excellent achievement in maintaining a safe working environment during the period 2000 - 2005.

FFIC Manufacturing Manager Steven Lockhart said: “This Award is well deserved recognition for all our employees who continually work hard to ensure we operate our plants and processes to the highest standards of health & safety”.

The plant at Grangemouth, manufactures primary dye colorants and toners– Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Black (CMYK) that are contained in many of the ink jet and toner cartridges used in homes and office printers and copiers throughout the world.

FUJIFILM Imaging Colorants is the world’s leading manufacturer of ink jet colours and Grangemouth has been at the forefront of developments in this sector since the mid-1980s.
